Ingredients
Rice - 1 cup
Mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
Blackgram dhal - 1 teaspoon
Green chillies - 3
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Asafeotida - 2 teaspoon
Chopped Mango (unripe) - 1/4 cup
Sprouted greengram - 1/4 cup
Ginger - small piece
Corriander leaves - few
Curry leaves - few
Coconut oil - 1 tablespoon
Lemon - 1/2
Salt - to taste
Preparing Method
1. Fry the rice nicely in the pan until it starts spluttering
2. Then to this add 3 cups of water and cook the rice
3. When it is half cooked, add salt and stir well
4. When the rice gets cooked (should not overcook) drain the water using a sieve. Allow it to cool
5. Heat the coconut oil in a pan, add mustard. When it starts spluttering add black gram dhal, ginger, curry leaves and then the cooked rice
6. Mix properly without mashing and add the sprouted green gram
7. Grind the coconut and green chillies. Add this also to the rice
8. Mix Asafeotida powder, mango pieces and remove from flame
9. Add lime and garnish with coriander leaves
10. Cooked vegetables like carrot, beans, capsicum, peas can also be added
