Moore Kozhambu is a favourite recipe in South Indian homes. Moore Kozhambu is a mildly flavoured recipe can be served hot with rice. Common vegetables like ladies finger, brinjal, ash gaurd and bottle gaurd can be additionally added to moore kozhambu

Ingredients
Butter milk -1 cup
Salt to taste
Mustard - 1/2 teaspoon
Urad dhal - 1 teaspoon
Cooking Oil - 2 teaspoons
Curry leaves
To grind:
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Red chillies - 3
Coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon
Cumin seeds -1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
Curry leaves - few
Small onions - 10
Preparing Method
1. Grind the ingredients said above except the onions. After grinding to a paste, add the small onions in grind coarsely
2. Add this to the butter milk and salt. Add enough water to kozhambu consistency
3. Now heat the oil in a kadai, add the mustard seeds, urad dhal and one red chilli. When it splutters add the curry leaves and the butter milk mixture.
4. Mix it properly until it starts boiling. Remove it from fire immediately when it boils, otherwise it will curdle.
5. Serve with rice.
