Aloo Methi Curry - Veg Recipe
Aloo Methi is a delicious potato curry to serve with chappathis and pulkhas

Ingredients
Potato- 5 medium sized
Chopped Onion -1/2 cup
Methi (Fenugreek plant)- 3 bunches
Green Chillies - 2
Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
Oil -2 tablespoon
Curd - 3 tablespoon
Tomato Puree - 3 table spoons
Turmeric powder -1/4 tea spoons
Chilli Powder - 1 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala - 1/4 teaspoons
Preparing Method
1. Steam cook the potatoes & cut it into bigger blocks after peeling them.
2. Cut the green chillies lengthwise
3. Clean the fenugreek leaves & chop them for further use
4. Heat the oil in the vessel & add cumin seeds, chillies and onions
5. When the onions get fried to golden brown add fenugreek leaves to it
6. Mix turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt, and curd to it
7. Then add potatoes to it aaa7 stir well
8. Simmer & cook for 5- 7 min keeping it closed with the lid
9. Then add the tomato puree, 1/2 teaspoon sugar and garam masala. Allow it to fry until it goes dry
10. Serve hot with Pulkhas
