Aaloo parota is a North Indian wholemeal (wheat) bread stuffed with spicy potatoes. It is delicious when served hot with paneer masala or with pickle and yogurt.

Aaloo porota Ingredients:
Wheat flour - 2 cup
Potato (Aaloo) - 3
Green chilies - 3
Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
Coriander leaves - few
Chili Powder - 1 teaspoon
Mango powder - 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder, salt - to taste
Ghee - 4 teaspoon
Oil - as needed

Aaloo parota preparing method:
1. Knead the wheat flour by adding water, salt and 2 teaspoons of ghee.
2. Cook the potato, peel it and mash it.
3. To this add the green chillies, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, mango powder, chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
4. Make small balls out of the kneaded wheat dough.
5. Make each ball like a cup, fill it with the potato masala, cover it and and spread like chappathi.
6. Toast aaloo parota both the sides with little oil on a tava and serve.
