Ingredients
Par boiled rice - 250g
Raw rice - 250g
Urad dhal - 125g
Fenugreek - 5g
Jaggery - 250g
Cardamom - 5-7
Oil - 50ml
Preparing Method
1. Soak the rice, dhal and the fenugreek seeds for 5 hours
2. Grind them into a thick batter and allow it to ferment for 5-6 hours
3. Heat the jaggery with 50ml of water in a vessel. When it dissolves, remove from flame and filter it to remove the dust
4. Add the cardamom powder and the jaggery into the batter
5. Then heat the paniyaram pan, pour 1/2 teaspoon of oil in every portions and then pour the batter. After few minutes, turn them so that both the sides get cooked.
Kuzhi Paniyaram is ready to serve.
