Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Coimbatore) has organised for operation of special buses from various places in view of the car festival of the Karamadai Aranganathar Temple scheduled for February 28.

Special buses numbering 150 would be operated from February 28 till March 2 till the completion of the festival.

Special buses numbering 65 would be operated from Coimbatore, 30 from Tirupur, 25 from Mettuppalayam, 10 from Annur, seven from Somanur, six from Tholampalayam and two each from Velliankadu and Sirumugai.

Arrangements

Similarly, arrangements have also been made for setting up temporary office with wireless sets and time keepers to work round-the-clock.

This is for ensuring timely, smooth and need-based operation of bus services, according to a press release that was issued here by the transport corporation.
