Coimbatore: The District Passport Cell (DPC) at the Collectorate has started accepting only ordinary category passport applications on online with effect from February 15.

A release from District Collector, P. Umanath said that till date, the passport cell was accepting handwritten applications.

From now on only online applications for ordinary category alone would be accepted.

Irrespective of the date and time allotted online, the authorities would accept the applications during the working hours.
