Meet on endoscopy on Feb.27
COIMBATORE: The Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGES) and Rao Hospital will hold a two-day conference-cum-workshop here on February 27 and 28 to discuss the technological advances made in gynaecology and safety in endoscopy.
Live surgery
The organisers said on Wednesday that the conference, titled ‘Insight 2010', would include a live surgery workshop and interactive sessions on latest procedures.
Public forum
Patron of the meet S.R. Rao and organising chairperson Asha Rao said a public forum on ‘Woman's Health: Managing Milestones' would be held on the second day of the conference.
Experts from across the country would answer questions from the public.
As for the conference, more than 250 specialists from the country and abroad would participate.
While the workshop and other sessions would begin on February 27, the conference would be formally inaugurated the next day by Vice-Chancellor of Amrita University R. Venkat Rangan.
President of IAGES Rakesh Sinha and honorary secretary Prakash Dwivedi would address some sessions.
