COIMBATORE: The revised load shedding schedule for areas covered under Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Coimbatore Metro will have modifications for select locations till April 9 as the public examinations are on.

After April 9 these areas will have load shedding according to the regular schedule.

According to a release, in Irugur and Coimbatore sub-stations (Pallapalayam, Ondipudur, IOC, Flower Market, KK Pudur, PN Palayam, Collectorate Feeders), part of Chinthamanipudur, Irugur, Ondipudur, part of R.S. Puram, KK Pudur, part of Saibaba Colony, RS Puram, PN Palayam, Anna Statue, Bharathiar Road, Balasundaram Road and Kulathur areas that are scheduled to have power cut from 12 noon to 3 p.m. will have no power from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. till April 9.

In Sulur sub-station (Sulur, KG Palayam, MG Pudur Feeders), Sulur, KG Palayam, Sengathurai, Aero Nagar, MG Pudur and Kaliapuram that are scheduled to have power cut from 9 a.m. to 12 noon will go without power from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. till April 9.

In Ukkadam sub-station (VH Road Feeder), VH Road, Part of Vincent Road, Goodshed Road and Big Bazaar Street that are scheduled to have power cut from 12 noon to 3 p.m. will have load shedding from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. till April 9.

In Peedampally sub-station (Pattanam Feeder), Pattanam and Pattanampudur will not have power from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. till April 9 as against the regular schedule of 9 a.m. to 12 noon.

In Kallimadai sub-station (Nandha Nagar, Singanallur, NK Palayam Feeders), where power cut is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., power cut will be from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Nandha Nagar and part of Singanallur, and from 12 noon to 3 p.m. at Housing Unit, Kakkan Nagar, Vellalore, part of NK Palayam and Vasantha Nagar, till April 9.

In Peelamedu sub-station (Ramakrishna, Ramakrishnapuram, Rangavilas, Jeyalakshmi, Ganapathy, Puliakulam, Lakshmi Mills, SRC and Singanallur Feeders), Ganapathy Industrial Estate, Ganapathy Maanagar, Gandhimaanagar, Avarampalayam Road (West), Ramakrishnapuram, Athipalayam Pirivu, PKD Nagar, Balaguru Gardens, Avinashi Road, Jaganatha Colony, Ammankulam, Pankaja Mills, Nanjundapuram Road, Nava India Road, KR Puram, Avarampalayam, Avinashi Road, Puliakulam Main Road, INS Agrani, part of Nava India, Udayampalayam, Sowripalayam, Kallimadai, Krishna Colony and Vasantha Nagar will have no power from 12 noon to 3 p.m. till April 9. The scheduled power cut after that is from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

In Karanampettai sub-station (Paruvai, Tex, Karanampet, Kadampady Feeders) Paruvai, Karanampet, P.G. Palayam and Kadampady will have no power from 9 a.m. to 12 noon till April 9. The scheduled power cut after that is from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
