Coimbatore: As part of the oil and gas conservation fortnight, the Indane (LPG division of Indian Oil Corporation) in association with its distributor Ideal Gas Service conducted a safety clinic and awareness programme at GCT Housing Unit on Thadagam Road.

The objective of the event was to generate awareness on conservation of gas and safety tips in using LPG.

D. Suresh, Deputy Manager of LPG, Indane, Kalainesan, Secretary of GCT Housing Unit and A. Ravikumar, Manager of Ideal Gas took part. A number of residents in and around the GCT took part and were explained on the precautions to be taken and observed for LPG safety besides useful tips on how to conserve LPG.
