COIMBATORE: A Tamil Internet exhibition will be organised here as part of the Tamil Internet Conference, according to convener of the Tamil Internet Conference Committee and Minister for Information Technology, Poongothai Aladi Aruna.

The Minister visited CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex, the venue for the World Classical Tamil Conference to be held here from June 23 to 27, on Wednesday.

Apart from the seminars and paper presentations, an exhibition would also be organised. The expo would have about 200 stalls and 100 of it would be on the State Government’s E-Governance project. Competitions would be held for school and college students to familiarise them in using Tamil in computer and Internet. The State-wide competitions for the school students would be held on February 12 and the competition for college students would be held in March. About 15,000 students were expected to participate.
