Coimbatore: The Entrepreneurship Development Cell of Dr.G.R.Damodaran College of Science here is organising a four-week entrepreneurship development programme free of cost for graduates and diploma-holders.

According to a release from D.Padmanaban, chairman and correspondent of the college, the programme is sponsored by the National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board, Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, through the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, Ahmedabad.

The programme aims at training the graduates and the diploma-holders in the essentials of conceiving, planning, initiating and launching an economic activity or an enterprise successfully.

The programme content includes class room training on the essentials of entrepreneurship survey of the prevalent socio-economic scenario, identification of business opportunities, etc.

Sessions on technology and finance are also arranged, depending upon the nature of project selected.
