COIMBATORE: Sri Prashanthi Academy, a school for differently-abled children, is organising an awareness carnival on April 3.

A release said the celebrations, to be held between 10.30 a.m. and 1 p.m. as part of World Autism Awareness Day, would also have an autism screening booth.

The Academy would organise fun activities for the children and their families.

An information centre on autism and other disabilities would function offering ‘presentations on demand' on a range of topics including intervention methods including sensory integration, PECS, inclusive education, biomedical approaches and role of yoga and ayurveda in autism.
