G. Kuppuswamy Naidu Memorial Hospital, (GKNM), functioning since 1952 is best renowned hospital in India. From a 50 bedded Hospital in 1952, the GKNM Hospital today is a 485 bedded multi-disciplinary referral institution. It occupies an area of 13.79 acres.
