Dr.G.R.Damodaran Teacher Training Institute Coimbatore established in 2005 offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) under Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. The College also offers a 2 year Diploma Course in Teacher Education (D.T.Ed.) Programme for students. Dr.G.R.Damodaran Teacher Training Institute has got excellent laboratory, library and computer facilities with hostels for men and women. The syllabus is as formulated by the D.T.E.R.T., and approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and is being currently followed in the teacher training institutes for students. The two year teacher training course is recognized by NCTE.
