The Auditors Association of Southern India (TAASI), was formed in the 1940 as the First Registered Society at Coimbatore. The membership of the association has grown to about 260 qualified chartered accountant members in and around Coimbatore. The main objective of the association is nurturing the profession of accountancy in all its dimensions and applications. The association conducts several technical conferences and seminars to discuss the then current topics and educate the industry and business about the changes taking place in the fiscal and monetary policies of the state.

The association's 15,000 square foot building in the heart of the city of Coimbatore is equipped with a library, lecture and conference halls and Community Hall. Community hall with seating capacity of 100 persons is available for daily rentals.
