Indian society for Advancement of Materials and Processing Engineering (ISAMPE) is a professional and technical society dedicated to the field of materials and process technology. ISAMPE Coimbatore Chapter started functioning in Coimbatore at Amrita School of Engineering from 2005. ISAMPE activities are organizing product exhibitions, seminars, conferences and technical workshops related to advanced materials and process engineering. The major thrust area of focus of ISAMPE is in the field of Composites and is involved in number of national level projects.

ISAMPE members focus on Materials and Process Technology in electrical and electronic materials, low cost materials for construction, advanced alloys, biomaterials, ceramics, coatings, biotechnology etc. ISAMPE annual awards and honors professionals and students involved in the field of composites, materials, engineering, design, development and process technology. ISAMPE provides technical notes and information of products and news related to materials and process technology to the members of the society.
